Seemingly tough/hard aka frustrating…

…….before it it was easy……..
                                                                         ….. It was hard…

“Practice these things; immerse yourself in them, so that all may see your progress.”    1 Timothy 4:15 ESV
“Just because something is hard does not mean it is impossible.”

2016 A New You??

A new you in 2016 ? Is this floating around in your thoughts?

What about The Authentic You in 2016?

What does that word authentic mean to you? What does this word mean from God’s perspective?

hhhmmmmm…

“Do not call to mind the former things or ponder things of the past. I will do something new, now it will spring forth; will you be aware of it? I will make a way in the wilderness and a river in the dessert.” Isaiah 43:18-19

Thirsty anyone?

2016

I find it interesting that my last post was called out of sight.. Seems like where I have been..

Happy New Year to you! I encourage you to seek happiness, today, this month, this year. You do not have to find this “happiness” all alone. I can promise you that you will not find sustaining true happiness with out asking God to walk with you on your treasure hunt.

Ps .. With this world so technological and in the day of Facebook – it’s ok to escape to yourself “out of sight.”

🙈 your friend & sister in Christ,

What are you Fighting?

We must learn how to fight.

We must learn to fight the enemy instead of our loved ones.

We need to seal up all the cracks and holes called insecurity, hurt, longing and affirmation so that the enemy cannot seep through  poisoning our emotions.

Seal yourself enemy tight with the name of Jesus Christ. The BEST GLUE that you will ever find to hold you together!

dark oceanFight the enemy proclaiming the name of Jesus Christ and demand that the enemy remove himself from your presence.

We need the encouragement to fight for security, grace and contentment in the eyes of the Lord.

That is my prayer for each one of us. Pray for one another. Let’s face it, God is the only one that can intervene in our souls to give us knowledge and wisdom.

Just like He can only do certain things through us, we can only accomplish worldly concerns through HIM.

Do not even try!

You do not have the strength you need to battle. We are not supposed to.

We are expected to let Him battle for us- using His strength through us. If you are not open to it, you will not receive it.

Just something to think about- [every hour of every day.]

Encourage one another today. You just might be the light that shines in the darkness.

In the name of Jesus Christ! Amen

It Is How We Are Designed

We are made in His image.

Made with purpose to Glorify Him…

and to reach as many people sharing how God has worked in your life- Testimony.

We are all sinners.

God picks sinners to reach other sinners.

…to forgive and wipe clean the past for a fresh new start with the Holy Spirit.

To be in God’s will, you must know Him and strive to be like Him.

To do this, you have to read, read, read, the bible to know how he reacts in situations, how he treats people,.. how he forgives.

CHARACTER of Jesus

Everything in this world is not black and white.

It is Character not Color

Feeling down?

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.  Be of sober spirit, be on the alert.  Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.  But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world.(others are going through similar circumstances- you are not alone)  After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, praypatience words. To Him be dominion, forever and ever.  Amen.

1 Peter 5:6-11 (NASB)
